Nicholas Cunningham graduated from the Queensland Dance School of Excellence (affiliated with the Queensland Ballet) and the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts. On completion of his education, he was awarded the acclaimed Marten Bequest Scholarship.

He is deeply passionate about theatrical dance, musicianship, and storytelling. His one-of-a-kind, world-class hybrid style defines his multiverse choreography that connects imaginations, music, and stories through dance. Cunningham approaches each creation with an open mind and a warm, collaborative energy. He creates space to explore the infinite imagination we have as humans.

 

Cunningham teaches masterclasses and mentors companies, dance centers, conventions, colleges, universities and dance schools across the world. He offers a range of masterclasses, technique classes, show repertoire, coaching, movement coaching for actors and private one-on-ones.
